Course Bookings & Payment

When you book a spot on one of our training courses, you're agreeing to these terms. We need full payment to confirm your place. All prices are in Great British Pounds (£) and are clearly listed on our website or in any specific quote we give you. We'll send you a confirmation email once your payment is sorted. If we don't receive payment, your place might not be guaranteed, so best to get it paid sharpish.

Cancellations & Refunds

We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel your course booking, please let us know as soon as you can. If you cancel more than 28 days before the course start date, we'll give you a full refund, minus a small admin fee of £50 to cover our bits and bobs. If you cancel between 14 and 28 days before the start, you'll get a 50% refund. Unfortunately, if you cancel less than 14 days before the course, or don't turn up on the day, we can't offer a refund. You can, however, send a different person from your company in your place, just let us know first.

Very rarely, we might have to cancel a course ourselves. If that happens – perhaps due to unforeseen circumstances or not enough attendees – we'll let you know straight away and offer you a full refund or the option to transfer to a different course date. We won't be responsible for any other costs you might have had, like travel or accommodation.

Your Responsibilities

When you sign up for our training, we expect a few things from you. Please make sure all the information you give us during booking is accurate and up-to-date. Turn up to the course on time, ready to learn, and behave in a professional manner with our tutors and other attendees. We're here to create a good learning environment for everyone, so respect and focus are key.

Our Responsibilities

Our job is to provide you with practical, high-quality training in complex financial instruments and derivatives. We promise to use experienced tutors who know their stuff and to deliver the course content as described. We'll give you the necessary course materials to help you get the most out of your training. We'll also make sure our Newcastle training facility is suitable and comfortable for your learning.

Intellectual Property

All the training materials, handouts, presentations, and content we give you are the property of Tyne Financial Insights. You can use these materials for your own personal learning and reference. However, you can't copy, share, or reproduce them for commercial purposes or distribute them to others without our written permission. Fair's fair.

Limitation of Liability

While we do our best to give you solid, practical insights, the information and training we provide are for educational purposes only. It's not financial advice. We won't be held responsible for any investment decisions you make based on what you learn, or for any indirect losses you might suffer. Our total liability to you for any course will not be more than the fee you paid for that specific course.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions, and any disputes or claims that crop up because of them, are governed by English law. Any disagreements will be handled by the courts in England and Wales. That's how it works.
