About Arthur Henderson
Arthur Henderson is the main person behind Tyne Financial Insights. He's our Director and the lead trainer for all our courses. Arthur started this business right here in Newcastle because he saw a real need. He wanted to help finance professionals truly get their heads around tricky financial stuff, especially derivatives. Before setting up on his own, Arthur spent years working in big city finance, but he always felt something was missing from the training out there.
He's not just someone who read books about finance. Arthur spent over 20 years in the field. He worked in London first, for a few large firms dealing with institutional investments and risk. His days were filled with seeing how complex financial products actually worked in the real world. He handled things like managing pension funds and making sure banks weren't taking on too much risk. That's why his training is always about what you can actually use, not just theory.
Arthur saw too many people struggle to understand derivatives. The language can be confusing, and the concepts seem far-fetched if you don't get proper guidance. His goal is to make these topics clear and simple. He breaks down complicated ideas into small, understandable parts. He believes anyone can grasp these instruments if they're taught correctly, without all the jargon and fluff you often get.
When Arthur teaches, he focuses on practical skills. You'll learn how options work, how to use futures contracts, and how to spot and manage risks in your trading. He covers things like:
